The raging wind storms that occur constantly in this area created the canyon..Thus giving it it's name. Those who venture to this area will instantly notice the wind speed picking up. Those who are not prepared for this can instantly be swooped away. The closer you get to the canyon the faster and more harsh the winds get..also visibility fades dramatically. If someone were to fall into the canyon they will fall for a while and die as there body gets impaled by the sharp jagged rocks at the bottom.
