| Rank: are basically the same as a ninja just different names (needs the names still). Also the amount of jutsu is the same as the ninja. Academy start off with no jutsu and must go through the training to pass the academy before they can start learning any real jutsu. Jutsu: The jutsu at the moment can only fall into three catagories Weaons, taijutsu, and Kenjutsu. As these are the only things we have knowledge of them using. They are proficient in using Chakra manipulation and can form different weapons made of chakra through their swords. Pure Chakra attacks (no element involved) ninjutsu i assume can be used . But no elemental jutsu is known to be usable(although we will allow them) Kekki Genkai: KG however might be able to use an element. Although i will only allow a few of these to be used.( my kg is nonelemental^.^).
Weapons: Academy and (genin) 2nd level will not use real swords. (Chunin)3rd level - General (kage) can use real swords. This is for saftey reason and shows that they are still in training. 3rd can use up to two katana and 4th can use up to 4. Additonal types of weapons maybe learned during the Academy and 2nd level although they will not allowed to be used with the actual weapon. The exception is the bo staff.
Armour: Upon becoming a 3rd the user gets the traditional grey and black armour with black kimono underneith of the land of iron. Although you do not have to wear it except when told to. 4th and above must wear it. Generals will have a variation ( the manga has him in a black kimono). !st and 2nd can wear whatever or what a suprior orders them to do.
Thats all for now, as you can see not much different.

| more info the Bushido code:
Seven virtues of Bushidō
The Bushidō code is typified by seven virtues:
Rectitude (義, gi?) to be truthful in words and action, to be honest and have integrity Courage (勇, yuu?) The ability to do things which one finds frightening. Benevolence (仁, jin?) a want to do good Respect (礼, rei?) To be considerate of others. Honesty (誠, makoto or 信 shin?) to be truthful Honour (誉, yo?) having dignity, and a good reputation Loyalty (忠, chuu?) faithful to those who you serve
Associated virtues Filial piety (孝, kō?) above all virtues to respect those above you and those who came before you Wisdom (智, chi?) a deep understanding of people, things, events or situations, empowering the ability to choose or act to consistently produce the optimum results with a minimum of time and energy. Care for the aged (悌, tei?) need i say more care for the elderly.

| Hinin- Others
1. Ronin- Masterless Samurai 2. Sohei- Warrior Monks Ikko Ikki- Rebel peasants
CHUGEN- Literally "In-between" is the rank given to the new members in the clan. The purpose of the Chugen in medieval Japan was to assist with physical tasks given by their officers, such as bearing spare weaponry and armor. Personal attendants to the samurai, they are best equated to squires in medieval Europe (minus the necessary social status); like squires, they would fight when the need arose
GASHIRA - Literally, "head." The gashira were battlefield leaders of small units of troops; there would be a gashira at the head of each spear or bow company, for example. The most direct comparison would be to a modern army sergeant. Gashira were essential elements to any ordered samurai army, and served as the final connecting point between the officers and soldiers. (They can be the equivalent to an Anbu unit and its Captain lol)
The Kyunin are the nobles of the military class. It was almost required that one be born into this class of warriors to be a part of it. During a particularly bloody era of the Sengoku period, however, lower class warriors including ashigaru could rise to the Kyunin class. One of the three great unifiers of Japan, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, started his life as a peasant. Everyone who joins is eligible to be a part of the Kyunin. ( They're the equivalent to Jounin, going onto Kage maybe)
(Code of the Samurai)
"Fate is in Heaven, the armor is on the breast, success is with the legs. Go to the battlefield firmly confident of victory, and you will come home with no wounds whatever. Engage in combat fully determined to die and you will be alive; wish to survive in the battle and you will surely meet death. When you leave the house determined not to see it again you will come home safely; when you have any thought of returning you will not return. You may not be in the wrong to think that the world is always subject to change, but the warrior must not entertain this way of thinking, for his fate is always determined. "
~ Uesugi Kenshin (1530-1578)
Can't think of the Genin and Chuunin status yet lol.

| Ok i think i have finally decided on some kinda rank system so here goes. any questions just ask ( these might change.)
1. academy level 1-like academy students for ninja just they are samurai. uses shinia and practice bow and arrow( cant use in combat) 2. academy level 2- Second half of the academy allowed to use bokken or the wooden weapon version of choice. Can start to learn weapons other than sword. Bows are an acception. 3.Chugen- Can carry an actual sword or weapon of choice. Daisho sets can be use (katana and wakizashi) 4.Gashira- can use four -six katanas 5.Kyunin- like a special nin very powerful in a certain skill form. (would be between a jounin and kage.) 6. Sounin- General- the highest rank. Can basically use whatever they want.
Other ranks Ronin- masterless samurai- basically like a wandering nin Sohei- warrior monks- not sure where this fits in but they can uses some kind of weapons( most likely a staff or other polearm)
