~The Tailed Beast Info~

The tailed beasts (尾獣, bijū) are nine giant demons that differ by the number of tails they have, with each possessing an amount from one to nine. They are large, living forms of chakra, sometimes referred to as "Chakra Monsters" (チャクラのバケモノ, Chakura no Bakemono),[1] giving them power that far outmatches most shinobi. However, this immense strength is tempered due to their bestial nature, which restricts them from being intelligent enough to use it effectively. Tailed beasts sealed within humans are able to benefit from the knowledge of their hosts, giving them the ability to speak and better utilize their powers. These hosts are known as jinchūriki.

~The Jinchuriki~

The jinchūriki (人柱力; English TV "Demon Hosts"; Literally meaning "Power of Human Sacrifice") are humans that have a tailed beast sealed within them. They exhibit extraordinary powers, and in some cases are wiser than their tailed beasts, because they have the intelligence to use the beast's powers effectively.

~The One-Tailed Shukaku (Ichibi no Shakaku)~

Name: Shukaku of the Sand

Info: Shukaku was once said to be the corrupted spirit of a Suna priest that turned into a demon, but it is actually one of the tailed beasts. It was originally sealed inside a tea kettle, and then placed inside its first jinchūriki.

Personality:Shukaku is intelligent, but also incoherent, giving it the demeanor of a drunkard, which fits well with the typical depictions of tanuki in Japanese folklore. Shukaku itself can translate to "drunk" in Japanese. Like other tailed beasts, its innate rage and bloodlust influence its behavior, and it relishes the opportunity to kill anyone in sight.

Half Shakuku- When the Host is in a rage , the Host slowly slips into his half-Shukaku form. In this form the sand slowly breaks down and begins to cover the body, covering his arms, and then his face distorting it and giving it Shukaku's features such as the yellow eye and markings, he even grows his one tail which itself functions like a normal tail. In this form, the speed increases. The Host can use the sand on their arms to stretch his limbs to extraordinary lengths. This form allows the host to even fire off a limb at will, but still have them remain under their control.

Minature Shakuku -In this state the entire upper body is covered, with only their feet remaining uncovered. While his facial features still remain slightly human, both his eyes resemble Shukaku's with the same markings around its body.

In this form, the Host is able to use Sand Shuriken with apparent great ease as most of his body is now sand. They can use Shukaku's wind element as he could now use the Wind Release: Infinite Sand Cloud Great Breakthrough. In addition much like the Kyubi's chakra shield, the sand is capable of absorbing a wide variety of attacks. However, the defense given to his body still has one weak spot. Since his lower half is not covered, a small explosion beneath his tail can make the entire sand form crumble, and fall apart.

Full Shakuku Form- Technically this isn't a jinchūriki form as its a transformation into Shukaku itself. In desperate situations, the Bijuu would instantly create a giant copy of it's self ,out of sand, with the human body hidden inside. While the host is awake, they still have control of Shukaku's body and can fight "normally" with it. While in this form, the Host transfers their eyesight to that of Shukaku's body in turn resulting in his own eyes losing their pupils. Unlike his smaller Shukaku form, this seems to be less able reform itself if damage, if it can at all. For example, Gamabunta cut off one of the Shukaku's arms and it wasn't able to reform.

When the host needs Shukaku's full power, he would expose his upper body on top of Shukaku's head and use the Feigning Sleep Technique, which allows Shukaku to take full control over its body. While taking over the body, Shukaku's eyes will become more apparent, changing from a simple light brown pupil, to its original version of a yellow pupil with a small black star with four blue dots around it. Shukaku can use Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet, by pressing compressed air out of it's stomach, to cause major blunt damage to its opponents.

The major weak spot of the Full Shukaku Form is as expected by the Host themself is being Shukaku's chakra that keeps the large creation going. When Naruto successfully hit Gaara, he woke him, stopping Shukaku's increase in power as Gamabunta stated the longer Gaara was asleep, the more of Shukaku's real power manifested and if asleep too long the Shakaku will eat away at the host's psyche until it takes complete control. After Gaara was knocked out, the entire Shukaku copy was shattered.

As expected from a tailed beast, this attack is very dangerous as even the large Gamabunta was in danger from the attack. The extra wind created when the attack is released is enough to raze a forest.

Drawbacks/Sideeffects: The Host will suffer from lifelong insomnia, a side-effect of being Shukaku's host. Whenever the Host falls asleep, Shukaku would eat away his personality, turning him into a monster. When the Host goes Tails they lose Life Span.

~The Two-Tailed Monster Cat( Nibi no Bakeneko)~

Name: Bakeneko of The Phantom Flames

Nickname: Ghost Cat, Monster Cat

Info: Cats are the common species throughout the world, and stories of bakeneko (化け猫, monster cats) are popular throughout Japan. In myth, when a cat reaches a certain age, it grows larger, and its tail becomes longer and forks in two, and is then called a nekomata (猫俣, forked-cat). Reportedly large in size, these cats are said to have the ability to manipulate the dead like puppets, and have been associated with strange fires and occurrences. This may be related to the monster cat's nickname and its fire-breathing abilities.

Personaility: The Bakeneko is intelligent, cunning, and quite tricky but its also very aggresive and lazy at times. The Bakeneko becomes agitated quickly and it quite lethal capable of killing anyone with out a second thought. Although while in a host it becomes decoil and gives the host control over it's self but when the host is in danger it becomes very aggresive and quite destructive.

Appearance:

The Bakeneko has the unique ability to change the intensity of its flames thus changing its color. The color also changes depending on what attack it preforms or is about to preform.

States:

Intial Transformation - By simply tapping into the Two-Tails' chakra, the Host's body begins its initial transformation. The first signs to this are the eyes; the hosts pupils become slitted, and then their irises will go from the original color to a greyish blue. Following this, the nails and canine teeth grow longer and sharper. The hosts hair will be become slighty longer and thicker. While the host can still stand on his own two feet, they can move at greater speeds by maneuvering on all fours in a manner similar to the Four Legs Technique used by the Inuzuka clan.

Depending on how much chakra is unleashed, the purplish-blue chakra is capable of spinning around the body in an untamed way. Even though this is the weakest state of the Two tails jinchūriki forms, it still increases the hosts physical strength far that of any normal shinobi and healing rates well above most shinobi although Minor compared to the Nine Tails.

This form also increases his speed to such levels that nothing short of a fully matured Sharingan is able to track his movements. The host can also use the chakra as a shockwave, sometimes merely using a roar or thrusting his fist out to send a rush of energy at his opponent.

First Tail - All the physical traits of the initial jinchūriki form were present and slightly altered, including black rings around the more aggresive-looking eyes, longer nails, and canine-like features. This form also came with an additional bonus: the purplish-blue chakra became a complete shield around the body, in the shape of a cat, complete with long ears and a tail, known as the monster cat cloak.

When in this form, the host fights more like a cat; instead of using their fists, the host uses elongated, sharpened claws. Like with his initial jinchūriki form, while he can stand on his own two feet, the host can move at greater speeds on all fours.

The Host's most powerful weapon in this state is the chakra itself, and it appears to have a mind of its own; when a strike misses a moving target, the chakra itself stretches off a limb to hit the moving target. Since the chakra is sentient, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to predict, as the host can be easily followed with the Sharingan, but the chakra can not. The chakra can also stretch far. The chakra around the body grants the host some measure of protection, enough that ordinary attacks like Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique will have no effect.

Full Two Tails - While transformed, the host is completely covered by the chakra of the tailed beast. In this form, the hosts chakra takes the form of a blue flamed two-tailed cat with no pupils in the eyes. With chakra emanating from out of the body, the host will hunch over and the Two-Tails itself will materialize. Though small compared to tailed beast forms of other jinchūriki, the Two-Tails still proves a threat. In this form, the host is able to emit fiery spectral blasts from the monster cat's mouth. These blasts are very destructive and when coupled with the Two-Tails' strength, the surrounding area can be reduced to rubble.

The explosion is relatively small compared to other Mencaing Balls but its some what faster then other Menacing Balls and can be shoot quicker. Its in its basic blue flame body state when fired.

Even a Rashoma Gate can be dented will a single Hitoda.

~The Three-Tailed Giant Turtle (Sanbi no Kyodaigame)~

Name: The Kyodaigame of the Great Lake

Nickname: One Eyed Turtle

Info:Turtles are often used as the base design for sea monsters in generic Japanese folklore. The Three-Tails' design in particular was conceived as a result of the series creator, Masashi Kishimoto's, interest in monsters, yōkai, and kaijū, mixing together various elements of those types of creatures to create a monster with a turtle's body and a shrimp's tail with a crab-looking figure.

Personaility: Kyodaigame isn't a very intelligent creature nor is it a very violent creature either much unlike the other Bijuu. Kyodaigame is more of a protective beast as it will only attack when something threatens it's existance or home. Although when this happens its violent nature is shown as it will stop at nothing to defend its self. It is by far one of the most lazy of the Nine Bijuu as when it was not sealed it slept in its lake for up to 50 years before waking up again to feed.

The Three-Tails was depicted as having no hind-legs, with only a pair of fore-legs and its three distinctive tails. Its right eye was constantly closed, indicating some sort of injury. Because of this, it was particularly vulnerable to attacks directed at its left eye. It has the ability to harden its shell by using chakra, when it does this the colour of its shell changes from sea green with dark pink skin to grey with a darker red colour.

No It was revealed that Gobi was a Dolphin Horse in the Manga that used special steam jutsu.

weird...i always thought Gobi was a fluffy dog....

Me too I wanted it to have all the 5 Elements but Kishimoto didn't want it like that...

This should be edited so people know which Bijuu have been taken by the Akatsuki and thus aren't open for Jinchurriki.

As well, I think it would be useful to have any information on the Bijuu's powers that don't have a full profile to be listed in the list. For instance, Gobi uses special steam jutsu or whatnot.
