The soothing sound of a river flowing slowly, birds chirping, the steady breathing of a person who was resting peacefully at the edge of the river.. Just a few sounds that could be heard this morning... Sumizome Tomoshibi, a samurai of the land of iron, was the person who was out in the wilderness so early in the morn. It may have been early, but the sun was shining brightly already... It was perfect. However to a sleepy fellow such as himself, the sun is nothing but a bother.. Keeping him awake and away from the dreamland. He rested in the shade of a tree, one arm over his chest and the other one sticking outward into the waters of the river. Every so often a curious fish would come nibbling at his fingers and he'd scare it off with a small jolt of chakra in response. It was amazing how animals learned from their mistakes; those fish never came back again. His Zweihander "Akaruku Tento Satsujin" was sticking out of the ground next to him. His large sealing scroll was at his feet; he was using it as a foot rest. His other sword, "Kimera no Tsubasa" was leaning against Akaruku.

The samurai was rather young, only 16 years of age. Even though... He held the rank of Kyuunin... Which meant he could hold his own in battle. People usually underestimated him for looking at a child. Sumizome is rather short-or rather tends to be shorter than people he meets with, being 5' and all-so instead of looking 16, he looks more like a 12 year old. His snow white hair, shaggy and chin length, with bangs that reached his pale blue eyes. On his right shoulder there was a small golden and red dragon tattoo that reached his neck. He wore rather traditional Japanese clothing; Black hakama, straw sandals, black tabi socks. He also wore a silky sliver no-sleeved top with a black eastern-style dragon on the back. He had a soft nonthreatening look on his face... A look that he keeps on even when in battle.

He usually came to this spot regularly, slacking off from his duties... Even though he is a hard worker, this job could get tedious and all around boring, so sleeping was the best way for him to pass the time. However.. He wasn't fully asleep. There was an ominous feeling that was present. It was odd.. And it felt as if something threatening was approaching. No matter what this thing or person was.. He would fight back with everything he's got. For the glory of the Land of Iron and the pride of it's warriors. His body was tense, but it was unnoticeable even to the trained eye; he was ready to jump up at any moment and defend himself.

The day was bright, the light was right, but it made no difference since Kyouga lacked sight. The Missing Nin, the blind warrior from the Austero clan. Was perhaps up to no good again. This was of course an amazing thing, to think that a blind man would cause this much mischief. But to say he lacked sight would be a grave misunderstanding. One that could prove to be costly to those, that would underestimate him. His spiky black hair, with blond streaks were the first things to be seen. His Sunakagure headband covered his eyes. There was of course a mark going through it, one that told stories about his affiliation. He was affiliated with any village, but an actually enemy of the villages. The darker toned Shinobi walked non chalantly, his jade earrings dangling as he moved. The Shinobi sports an undershirt that looks more like a string vest. One that is very reminiscent of the Shinobi’s own fishnet garments. Kyouga also wears a long sleeve black top that is covered by a grey vest that is strapped over his left shoulder only. The abdomen area of the vest is held together by other straps and buckles. Extending further towards the bottom half of Kyouga’s body.

It soon becomes apparent that the long sleeve top is actually an overcoat. However this overcoat is styled in a different manner, as to only cover three quarters of the body. The lower end of the coat is swayed to the left hand side of the body. Covering the left side of the body with a buckle connecting it to the right side of the body. The Shinobi also sports four pouches each on his hips, with various equipments inside of them. There is also a pouch that is worn around the right leg of the Shinobi. All of these pouches so happen to be grey in color, capable of holding a fair amount of equipment. Kyouga like most Shinobi also sports a pair of black sandals. The Shinobi’s trousers are tucked into his Sandals, which stretch up his skins. Overall Kyouga stands at 6’1 inches which is almost the height of his own father.

The area felt cool and slightly damped, the flow of the river could be heard. And Kyouga already sensed that someone was actually close by. The Shinobi smiled as he continued walking. "Its a lovely to die, don't you think? I've been searching for someone to kill me for a while now. But no one seem to want to. Will you be so kind as to grant me my wish?". Kyouga chuckled slightly as he spoke those intriguing words. His hand moved swiftly as a Shuriken came out and was sent flying. It wasn't aimed as a death blow or to cause harm. It was instead sent out as a warning, an invitation if you will. The Shuriken would collide with a tree close by the the unknown individual. Kyouga maintained his position, waiting to see what the man's response would be. At the same time kyouga was also prepared to defend himself. The blind Shinobi was looking forward to all of this.

A Spar: Tsumizome vs..? Empty

As if... On cue.. There was a voice that came out of the forest. Sumizome's eyes opened into narrow slits, his head turned into the direction the voice came from. To him.. This unknown man's voice was... Too dark for his liking. And he carried an aura that Sumizome would describe as... Cold. Before the young samurai could move, he heard the sound of a shuriken slicing through the air. It was too close for comfort to be honest, but he noticed that it's aim was off.. "He's toying with me.." he thought. "No self-respecting Shinobi would miss a target that's immobile and furthermore, one that's laying down on the ground.." Sumizome went through a few options in his mind; what he had to do now was strategize enough to be at least two steps ahead of his opponent, but that would mean he would have to figure out his opponent's ability first. "Okay then, no choice.."

Sumizome quickly scrambled to his feet, planting them firmly on the ground where he stood. He quickly fastened the large summoning scroll where it belonged, grabbed his "Kimera" sword and put it where it belonged, in a sheath on his back. Sumizome pulled out his biggest sword "Akaruku" from the ground, grunting as he did so. The sword, a Zweihander, was about the size of himself. One would be surprised if they were to get their hands on this sword, to see that it didn't weigh that much at all. It was a special sword, passed down in his family, that was made from a special lightweight yet extremely dense metal that was resistant to extreme temperatures... Perfect for his style of fighting indeed. However.. Since he had no idea what this man was capable of, it was best not to go rushing in.

Having Shinobi parents and being raised in a samurai nation, Sumizome was taught in both ways.. This was another thing he could use to his advantage.. He knew the shinobi's ways, he knew their tools, and he even used them himself. It's the perks of learning both the ways of the Samurai and the ways of the Shinobi, one could say. Sumizome grabbed Akaruku with both hands, taking the basic sword stance with his legs spread apart, handle held firmly, and blade pointed in the direction of his opponent. He began to bring forth a mold his chakra into shape. Unlike the shinobi, who needed handseals in most cases to do so, the samurai used their blades for such purposes, making technique using much simpler. With a simple swing of his blade, there was a cloud of smoke that appeared, and there was an exact copy of himself standing right next to him. It was a Hikari Nijuushin, one of his clan's special techniques or jutsu. The clone was holding Akaruku just like the original.. The plan was simple, to send the clone to attack so he can see how the man would retaliate to the attack. A waste of chakra, yes, but it was a way of gaining valuable knowledge on his opponent's skills. However.. This attack wasn't just a way of gaining knowledge, it was Sumizome's way of throwing a cheap shot. Before the clone set off Sumizome handed it an explosive tag, which it then placed on it's body. In addition to the original plan, the addition of the explosive tag would also hopefully harm the opponent in the process as the clone dispersed, it would cause the explosive tag to go off because the explosive tag was connected to the clone's chakra network. The sudden disappearance of that chakra would cause the tag to explode, thus acting as sort of a trigger mechanism. It was a very... VERY... cheap plan, but it was effective nonetheless. Sumizome was capable of playing dirty..

The clone set off, blade in hand, explosive tag placed on it's body. It charged right at the man. Once it got about 2 meters away, he began to position the sword for a strike, bringing his hands to his right side, and getting ready to slash at the man horizontally, once he got close he would do so...And he was closing in quite quickly "Let's see how this goes.." The real Sumizome thought.

200-20 = 180
